When the connector fails, how to eliminate it

At present, the application of electronic connector in life has become more and more extensive. Due to the small size and precise design of such devices, various situations often occur in use. For some common faults, we also need to do a good job in the corresponding analysis. When the fault occurs, what should we do?

 

Connector fault I: poor contact

 

From the structural point of view, the metal conductor inside the connector is the core part of the overall equipment, which is used to connect the electric pressure or current of the wires or cables externally, and the data signal is equal to their mutual cooperation, which is transmitted to the connector contacts matched with each other. Therefore, the connector design must be well structured and reliable Stability and good conductivity. Because this kind of situation often occurs, there are many reasons, which may be due to the unreasonable design of the contact parts of the connector, the problems in the selection of materials, or the processing size is very inconsistent with the design requirements, rough or unequal installation methods, which will cause the poor connection between the connector and the equipment, so the first consideration should be given to the failure of electronic devices The problem is the contact problem. Connector fault 2: poor insulation

This is also known as the external environmental impact. Generally, the performance will be unstable, the leakage phenomenon will be more terrible, and the unsafe factors in use will be caused, which can be observed directly. However, when encountering such problems, the connector must be stopped and replaced directly.

There is also a problem involved here, that is, the reason for the poor insulation. Due to the existence of redundant substances on the surface or inside of the insulator equipment, such as common dust, burr and other adsorbates, the insulation material will absorb moisture for a long time, and the aging will occur in the short circuit, leakage and failure. If the insulation material fails to meet the standards, it is us If there is a wrong choice caused by environmental impact, it is caused by improper use and poor protection, especially the damage to the insulation layer of the connector caused by the humid corrosive environment, which makes us very tangled. This must be avoided as far as possible, so as to avoid more unnecessary losses, especially the leakage protection, as well as the possible human safety issues. Therefore, when using, we should pay special attention to the protection of the insulator to prevent the failure caused by the bad insulator.

Connector fault 3: the connector is not fixed stably

Due to poor fixation or slight shaking, the connector can be powered off, and even worse, the connection will be interrupted and the product will be disassembled. Generally, this can be avoided by changing the installation mode, especially paying attention to the rationality of installation and the close combination of installation and use, so this problem will not occur. Therefore, in the selection, we should try our best to connect the design closely, select the products that meet the requirements and have relatively mature technology.
